This is a perspective I drew and rendered at DaDe ART + DESIGN LAB.
I completed my internship at DaDe a couple months ago and just loved it. The people were amazing (miss you guys) and it was such an artistic, inspiring environment. I met so many cool people and learnt alot from all of them! I hope to cross paths with you guys again soon. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch to work with. DaDe specializes in modern furniture, chinese antiques and contemporary art. It is also a great space for events. For more information on DaDe ART + DESIGN LAB, go to dadegallery.com. I collaborated with the team at DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB to create this mood board that embodies the essence of transitional style with a DaDe flare. TRANSITIONAL can be warm & intimate, or it can be elegant & sophisticated, striking a perfect balance between contemporary & classic. 1. 'janelle at one second' by Jason Eng 2. I collaborated with the team at DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB to create this mood board which embodies the essence of traditional style done the DaDe way. TRADITIONAL is not about opulence, it is the harmony which has been perfected over the centuries. It is comfort rooted in integrity of the materials & the beauty of the classic silhouette. 1. bullfrog GERMANY model 1007 SESSEL chair 2. On Tuesday, May 8th, I created my own inspiration board and blog post for DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB. Here it is! By the end of the week, I will have posted a couple other projects too. Stay posted! I think orange should be the official colour of happiness. There is something about it that never fails to make me smile. As Jonathan Adler would say, "Orange looks like you're living the California Dream". When Pantone released their colour of the year, Tangerine Dream, I was ecstatic. It was the perfect time for a burst of red-orange delight! I ordered myself a peach bellini and began to ponder the possibilities of this lovely new trend in design. 1. beacon by Bee Kingdom 2. 17-1463 TCX tangerine tango colour swatch by Pantone 3. I am currently a design intern at DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB in Inglewood in Calgary. I am loving working in such an eclectic and artistic environment. This is an example of one of the many collaborations I have been a part of thus far at DaDe. It is an inspiration board that I helped put together with designer, Anastassiya Vassilyeva. Keep posted for more design projects! I should have a new inspiration board up by the end of the week. 1. mixed media by Darcy Lundgren 2. arm chair by bullfrog Germany 3. interior houzz.com 4. blown glass by Julia Reimer 5. encaustic by Kim Bruce 6. interior houzz.com 7. yellow tulips 8.
